Program Description

The Goal of the program is to:

  1. Develop elite athletes in all domains of athletics, including:
    1. Speed
    2. Endurance
    3. Power
    4. Strength
    5. Agility
    6. Nutrition
    7. Psychology
    8. Injury prevention
    9. Goal Setting
  2. Offer a specialized fitness program for students who participate in Sport Etudes to improve individual fitness in various domains.
  3. To cater to the individual goals of each athlete at all levels by providing a customized program and approach for each student.


Our Organization and Coaches

CrossFit Ile Bizard and Entrainement Be Training is owned and operated by Sherry Shaban, a certified athletic therapist who holds bachelor degrees in Exercise Science and Biochemistry from Concordia University.  Sherry has more than 12 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach working with athletes, sports teams and the general population.  She is currently undergoing her studies in Osteopathy.

Head Coach and program coordinator, Dinaz F Bulsara, BSc, NCCP- 1- weightlifting, studied Human Kinetics and is a national level athlete in Olympic Weightlifting. She has been coaching youth and adults in strength and conditioning at all levels for 7 years.

Program Structure

Each week, students will divide training into the following blocks, which will vary from month to month according to the training phase:

Goal Setting: 1 session per month

Speed and Power development: Olympic Lifting 2 to 3 sessions per week

Endurance development: Running Clinic 2 sessions per week

Intervals and Cross Training: 3 sessions per week

Mobility & Flexibility: 1 session per week

Nutrition Education: 1 session per month

Sports Psychology: 1 session per week

Injury Prevention Education: 1 session per week

Independent study: 1 hour per week

Custom programming: 1 to 2 sessions per week

Students will learn about how they move, how they improve/recover from training, how to eat to fuel their bodies, and how to maintain well-rounded health habits for life.

The program is designed to be progressive and allow for ample recovery time. Students will be tested every 4 to 6 weeks on their improvement in each domain.
